Use a prototype to assess fit and assembly before committing to a production design. Tell the team which features need to be evaluated.
Housings, brackets and components
Discuss the environment, loads and mating parts so material and geometry can be assessed together. Share the required quantity and any inspection criteria.
Appearance and finishing
Supply a colour reference and identify visible surfaces when asking about post-production finishing.
