When should I start with design?
Use this service when you have an idea or drawing but need a digital model, or when an existing design needs adapting for 3D printing. Explain how the part fits into its assembly and which dimensions must stay fixed.
What should I send?
Include drawings, dimensions, photographs and any existing CAD files. Identify loads, mating surfaces, temperature exposure and the number of parts you need. A sketch can start the discussion; it is not a substitute for an agreed production model.
What happens before printing?
Agree the model, critical dimensions and intended material with the team before manufacture. Design work and printing requirements are assessed together so changes can be discussed before you order.
